Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Email/SMS Marketing Manager to lead our email and SMS marketing efforts. The Email/SMS Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategies to engage customers, drive conversions, and enhance brand loyalty. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in email and SMS marketing, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of best practices in marketing automation, segmentation, and campaign optimisation across multiple channels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated email and SMS marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including increasing customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
- Create compelling and engaging email and SMS content, including promotional campaigns, newsletters, transactional messages, and automated workflows, that resonate with target audiences.
- Manage all aspects of email and SMS campaign execution, including campaign planning, segmentation, scheduling, testing, deployment, and performance tracking.
- Monitor and analyse email and SMS campaign performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI, and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Implement A/B testing and other testing methodologies to optimize email and SMS content, subject lines, calls-to-action, and other elements for maximum effectiveness.
- Manage the company's loyalty program, including developing and implementing strategies to drive program enrolment, engagement, and retention.
- Segment email and SMS lists based on customer demographics, behaviour, preferences, and engagement data to deliver personalized and targeted communications.
- Create and manage automated email and SMS flows, including welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, post-purchase follow-ups, and re-engagement campaigns, to nurture leads and drive conversions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, product, and data analytics, to align email and SMS marketing initiatives with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in email and SMS marketing and implement innovative strategies to enhance campaign performance.
- Ensure compliance with email and SMS marketing regulations, such as CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and GDPR, and uphold best practices for deliverability and sender reputation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in email and SMS marketing, with a proven track record of planning and executing successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in marketing platforms including Klaviyo & SMSBump marketing automation tools, and CRM systems.
