Premier Recruitment is delighted to be working with a prestigious Legal 500 law firm based in Bexleyheath, who are seeking an Assistant Legal Cashier to join their dynamic team.
About the Role:
As an Assistant Legal Cashier, you will be an integral part of the finance team, supporting the firm's legal cashiering functions. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading law firm, renowned for its commitment to excellence and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing client and office accounts in accordance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
- Processing payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.
- Handling electronic payments including CHAPS, BACS, and Faster Payments.
- Assisting with VAT returns and other regulatory compliance tasks.
- Providing support to the wider accounts team as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Previous 1 years plus experience in an accounts or finance role is essential.
- Legal accounts experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
