Health and Safety Manager

HSE Recruitment are working with a unique events and travel company who are looking for a Health and Safety Manager (National role).

Your role will cover 15 residential adventure sites across the UK so a central UK location will be important or good commutable links. Travel will be approx. 3 days a week to begin with to ensure you have a full understanding of the individual sites. Safety is in a good place, they have good processes and policies but they want to drive it forward, identify improvements and to develop the culture.

You will sit as part of the wider facilities team and have one direct report in health and safety. Each site has dedicated trained and qualified responsible people who lead on H&S day to day that you will form close relationships with.

What we are looking for?

  • Qualification- NEBOSH Diploma of equivalent level H&S qualification and CMIOSH or CertIOSH would be desirable however we are open for the right person.
  • Backgrounds- someone from a similar background/risk profile such events, hospitality, retail, leisure or tourism.
  • Personality traits- someone with a strong work ethic but who doesn't take themselves too seriously, a team player, someone pragmatic and practicable, fun, who will enjoy this environment, good communicator, able to engage with people, organised and can prioritise workload and is adaptable.

This role is paying £55,000 plus car and package.
