Zest Education is currently looking to expand its team with passionate ECTs who are eager to make a positive impact in schools across Birmingham and the West Midlands. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools, gaining valuable experience and honing your skills in classroom management and student engagement.

We have relationships with the large majority of schools in Birmingham and Solihull, many on an exclusive basis, and can provide you with a helping hand to start your teaching career. Zest Education offer a smooth registration process which is clear and secure for you, but most importantly offer you regular work and support you along your teaching journey.

We can provide you with valuable help and advice, as well as the local knowledge of schools in your area, allowing you to try each secondary school before committing to your ECT induction terms.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
