Bellfield Home in Banchory offers high-quality residential care for up to 34 older people in a serene setting just 18 miles west of Aberdeen. Nestled in its own grounds, the home is conveniently located near local amenities such as shops, banks, and healthcare service. The home features inviting communal spaces, including two lounges, a conservatory, and a secure garden with a sensory area. Residents enjoy high-quality, flexible dining options and can take advantage of the newly refurbished summer house. Our dedicated staff work closely with each resident to create personalised care plans, and family involvement is actively encouraged. Bellfield also benefits from strong community ties, with local volunteers supporting activities and events that enrich the residents' lives.

We are seeking a Senior Care Worker to join our team at Bellfield. In this role, you will manage a team and oversee the care provided to our residents, ensuring high professional standards are maintained. Your responsibilities will include assessing service users' needs, supervising staff, and fostering a supportive and communicative environment.

You will also assist with staff recruitment, training, and performance management, while ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere. Additionally, you will provide management cover as needed, lead nightly briefings, and handle Health & Safety duties. Your leadership and organisational skills will be essential in delivering outstanding care and maintaining an effective service.

Candidates should have an HNC in Social Care or SVQ 3 and be working towards a management qualification, with relevant experience and basic computer skills. As this role requires working within a Christian ethos, you must have a Christian faith. PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration are required
