Senior Wordpress Elementor Developer (Figma)- Remote

My client is looking for a contractor with at least 5 + years' experience of WordPress and ideally using Elementor. Good understanding of PHP/CSS and HTML, understand basic SEO for websites (in particular for migrations of a current website) Understands DNS set up.
Soft skills - proactive, reliable, quality, strong communication skills and trustworthy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality WordPress websites for our clients, ensuring excellent functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Lead a remote team of developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the sales team to assist with project quoting, scoping, and feasibility assessments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, participating in client calls, understanding their requirements, and effectively communicating project progress and updates.
- Thoroughly review and check the work of developers to ensure adherence to quality standards and attention to detail.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, WordPress updates, and emerging technologies, continually enhancing your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and advanced functionality.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and their application in WordPress development.
- Proficient in JavaScript, PHP, CSS, and database languages such as SQL, enabling you to develop robust and scalable solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress frameworks and plugins, including Crocoblocks and My Listings.
- Strong understanding and experience with Elementor, utilising it to create visually stunning and responsive websites.
- Excellent Business English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate leadership skills, capable of leading and motivating a remote team of developers to deliver exceptional results.
- Proactive and reliable, with a self-driven attitude to take ownership of projects and deliver them within the allocated timeframe.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a keen eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies in developer work.
- A strong problem-solving mindset, to analyse complex issues and provide efficient solutions.
