Role: Audit & Accounts Manager
Location: Basildon, Essex
Are you a highly skilled and motivated professional with a passion for delivering exceptional Audit and Accountancy services? ProTalent is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join our Accountancy Practice client in Basildon. As an integral part of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with directors and associates to drive the firm's objectives and provide high-level advice to clients and the team.
Role:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing all their Audit & Accounts-related dealings
- Provide support in the management of Audit & Accounts services, ensuring accurate and timely completion of assignments.
- Deliver and enhance the firm's Audit and Accountancy services, including planning, organizing, and managing multiple assignments.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and team members, staying updated on legislative developments and facilitating training.
- Line-manage, advise, and support team members, fostering a learning environment and promoting their professional development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contacts, and internal specialists, ensuring effective communication and exceptional service.
- Take ownership of client portfolios, working alongside directors and associates to meet clients' needs and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Drive commercial success by meeting annual fee targets, overseeing billing and fee collection, and actively participating in marketing initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Up-to-date and proficient knowledge and skills in Audit and Accountancy.
- Strong computer skills relevant to the role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
