A wonderful SEN school in Merton seeks to appoint an exceptional SENDCo. As a qualified and committed SENDCo this is an excellent opportunity to join an outstanding learning environment, with high goals and expectations. The role will include working alongside leadership in the implementation of the SEND policy and ensuring practice is compliant with the SEND code of conduct.
You will be part of a community where learning is the key purpose for every member of the community and in which every student has challenging targets and understands the journey to reaching them. As a SENDCo, you and your colleagues will ensure that all members of the school community are valued for their uniqueness and are recognised for their contributions.
The successful SENDCo will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and follow school policies and the code of conduct. The main responsibilities will include the development and operation of the SEN policy, maintenance of the SEND register and analysis of pupil data.
