Year 1 Teacher

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Nuneaton. This is a part-time position, requiring the successful candidate to work on Thursdays and Fridays, starting in September and continuing until the end of the next academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 1 students.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and events.

Maintain accurate records and adhere to school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 1 students.

An enhanced DBS check on the update service or a willingness to obtain one through Aspire People.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

A commitment to fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
