As a QA Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our web applications. You will collaborate with our development team to identify and rectify any issues that may arise during the software development process. This will include conducting automated tests using Java and Azure, as well as performing manual testing when necessary.
What you'll be doing:
Conducting thorough testing of web applications to identify bugs, flaws, and usability issues
Creating, maintaining, and executing test cases and test scripts
Performing regression testing to ensure that issues have been resolved
Collaborating with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
Providing detailed reports and documentation on testing activities
Identifying areas for process improvement and suggesting innovative solutions
What we're looking for:
Strong experience in automated testing, specifically using Java and Azure
Proficiency in testing web applications and APIs
Familiarity with various testing tools, such as Selenium and JUnit
Knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
A keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring the highest quality standards
Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
This is a fixed-term contract for a period of 6 months, with a daily rate ranging from £400 to £425. In addition to the exciting work you'll be doing, you will also have the opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive team that values your expertise.
