Accountable Recruitment have partnered with an SME on the outskirts of Liverpool that is experiencing a high period of growth to find a Financial Controller to complete a 6 month fixed-term contract.
Reporting into the MD you will be responsible for overseeing the finance function, ensuring the monthly management accounts are produced in a timely manner.
Key day to day duties will include:
- Managing a small team of finance staff
- Overseeing the production of the management accounts
- Profit & loss analysis and over head reporting
- Looking for anomalies in key cost centres
- Year end financial accounts preparation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow management
- Reviewing budgets and forecasts
- Present management information in board meetings
- Supporting auditors with completion of the financial statements and providing notes disclosures.
The successful candidate will:
- be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- have similar experience in a previous role
- have worked for an SME in the past
