Senior Finance Manager - Housing Association
Location: North West London (Hybrid working - 1-2 days per week in office)
Circa £70k pa
My client are a leading housing association in North West London, dedicated to providing quality homes and building thriving communities. We're seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and drive financial excellence across our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial reporting function for the parent company and subsidiaries
- Oversee the entire budget cycle for capital and revenue activities
- Prepare and manage statutory financial accounts and annual audits
- Develop and maintain effective financial controls and processes
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership and the Board
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals
- Collaborate with department heads as a finance business partner
- Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and analysis
Required Experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) 5 years' experience in a financial role, preferably in the housing sector
- Proven track record in managing statutory accounts and audits
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience in capital expenditure accounting and development programs
- Excellent leadership and team development skills
