Salary: £25,000-£28,000

We are a dynamic engineering business specialising in the aerospace market, partnering with major airlines and manufacturers. Our team of workshop and field-based engineers provides maintenance and repairs to aircraft tooling and equipment across the UK and Europe.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a vibrant, driven, and focused individual to join our operations team as a Planning Co-Ordinator. This pivotal role involves supporting our internal and external customers with all aspects of repairing customer equipment. You will work closely with field-based engineering teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and meeting customer expectations. Attention to detail and a strong focus on process are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule engineers, materials, and equipment to ensure adequate allocation and timely job completion.

Plan reactive works to meet deadlines and arrange work promptly.

Serve as a point of contact and escalation for on-site engineers.

Make adjustments during the workday to accommodate emergency calls.

Manage the vehicle fleet.

Book calibrated tooling, schedule lab works, and handle goods receipt upon completion, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

Coordinate all repair works via our in-house system.

Allocate work to in-house teams and sub-contractors.

Provide regular updates to customers and suppliers.

Follow up on repairs required based on planned maintenance reports.

Ensure all work is completed timely.

Update our asset management system.

Monitor monthly output to ensure targets are met.

Perform general administrative tasks to support the business.

Candidate Profile:

Positive personality and a can-do attitude are highly valued.

Proactive approach with a commitment to excellent customer service.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent planning and organizational skills with an analytical approach to problem-solving.

Proficient in MS Office (Email, Outlook, Word, Excel).

Strong communication skills at all levels.

Must have the right to work in the UK.

Full clean driving licence.
