Service Coordinator / Call Scheduler / Service Desk Administrator
Looking for an experienced "Operations Administrator" who has previously coordinated service calls to a team of field-based Engineers / Technicians or similar remote staff.
You will be joining a team of 3 Office based staff, responsible for scheduling / allocation of all the field service maintenance visits / calls for the 15 permanent Field Service Engineers, and a team of trained sub-contractors, across the UK.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Theale as an Service Co-ordinator Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm.

As the Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for

As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients busy office in Sunningdale.
You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including managing office communications, maintaining records, and providing support to our team.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience Required
Knowledge of Linux OS (one of Centos, RedHat, Ubuntu, Server and Client), LDAP Knowledge of Windows OS (Client), Active Directory Storage technologies: NAS, SAN, NFS, ZFS.
General
Use of software/hardware monitoring tools Configuration management: tools like Ansible or Puppet Usage and management of IT security platforms running on RedHat and Windows Client (Software firewall/antivirus), Fortinet Gateways advantageous Experience in help desk support for Windows and Linux end users Some experience with rack mounted hardware
Skills Required
Scripting, programming in Bash shell, Python (Perl is a bonus) Good knowledge of IP networks including security aspects Knowledge of modern web application development (like NodeJS) and knowledge of SQL is a bonus Problem focused: able to work in and contribute to a no-blame culture Good interpersonal skills and willingness to help and support others Ability to contribute/apply new ideas for improving the IT infrastructure and procedures Willingness to document Eagerness to learn new concepts and skills Good interpersonal skills, willingness to help/support teams.
