Using previous technical knowledge and documentation analyze desktop hardware (desktop hardware may include but not be limited to desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, monitors, scanners, multifunctional printers, switch boxes, conferencing devices and specialist custody and force control room equipment) and application software faults raised via the ICT Service Desk.
Document fixes for use by others within a knowledge base system.
Collate relevant information and diagnoses to assist in the verification of the fault in order that the necessary action may be taken to restore service to the user of BCH system.
Take responsibility for the administration of teaching and learning, student administration, student recruitment, international development, student success and development activities.
Support a culture of excellent service provision and continuous improvement, focusing on the student experience.
Working as part of the College's IT Services Department to provide a professional comprehensive helpdesk and administration service to staff, students and guests of the College.
Main Duties
Provide a friendly and approachable helpdesk service for all Information Systems, eLearning, Finance, Facilities and IT enquiries across the College.
Responsible for being first point of contact for all customer telephone, email and walk up enquiries.
